Amateur boxers Angel Gladey, De’Andre Robinson-Neal, Jeffrey Steen and Daniel Locklear represented Whiterock Boxing, Palmetto Boxing, and the State of South Carolina in the largest amateur boxing contest in the world - The Ringside World Championships. The tournament was held August 1-5, 2007 in Kansas City, Missouri. Six rings were set up to accommodate 300 bouts a day for five days.  Coach Dominic Robinson-Neal accompanied the team as head coach. The team competed with over 1450 boxers from France, Ireland, Japan, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Switzerland, Hawaii, Europe, Canada and the U.S.  A special thanks to Billy Stanick, Sr., Sean Fink, Shelby Gross, Shelly Nunez and Midlands Honda for their generous donations in support of these young athletes.
