“Mayhem at the Medallion big success”

A huge crowd was treated to a great night of professional boxing and mixed martial arts at The Medallion Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Kelly Anundson and Angel Gladney both put on spectacular performances as the Co-Main Events on Saturday night.

World Ranked female sensation Angel “Non-Stop “Gladney 6-0 (4KO's) wasted no time establishing that she indeed was queen of the ring as she annihilated Domeshia Allen in Round 1 of a scheduled 4 rounder. Allen was given 2 eight counts and tasted the canvass once before the fight was waived off by referee Bill Clancy.

Not to be out done, World Champion Grappler Kelly Anundson put on a display of mixed martial arts fighting that left the crowed in awe. Anundson’s opponent Chris McNally was on the defense for most of the three five minute rounds. There was no doubt who had prevailed as the winner even before the decision was announced. Kelly scored big with three thunderous body slams early in the bout and a wrestling demonstration to be envied as he sealed his majority decision win.

Palmetto Boxing would like to thank all in attendance. "We certainly appreciate our Sponsors and fan support we've received," said Stokes. "Our goal is to continue to provide competitive shows as we move forward to what is shaping up to be a wonderful year." A special thanks to our major sponsor Stanick Roofing.
