2011 SC State Golden Gloves a big Success

A standing room only crowd was treated to a great night of amateur boxing at The White Rock Boxing Gym this past Saturday, March 19, 2011. Palmetto Boxing hosted the 2011 South Carolina Golden Gloves Tournament, which brought teams from as far away as North Carolina and Georgia to compete against some of the most talented boxers in the United States. Our home town boxers did not disappoint the many fans that came out to support them.  De’Andre Robinson-Neal put on a dominant performance on his way to a decisive victory against his opponent. Daniel “DP” Powell won the State Golden Gloves Championship by walk over win. Boxers who win the State Golden Gloves Title will advance to the Regional Tournament in Tennessee during the month of April. A full report and details of the boxers advancing will be posted today. We would like to send out a special thanks to our supporters and sponsors who helped make the 2011 State Golden Gloves Successful. The full fight report is posted below.
