Donna Biggers will be fighting Layla
McCarter on Friday, January 5, 2007, at the Orleans Hotel &
Casino in Las Vegas, NV. This event is promoted by Crown Boxing
Inc. The titles at stake are the WBA Women's lightweight and the
GBU light weight. This fight will be a 12 round 3 minute bout.
Donna Biggers won the WIBC Featherweight Title at White Rock
Boxing Gym on 6/18/05. We wish her luck and give her our

We would like to say congratulations
to Berry Butler from Greenville, SC on his win on 12/14/2006 at
Golfstream Park Racing and Casino, Hallandale, FL, USA. His
opponent was a very tough Sam Reese from Newport News, VA. Berry
was down once in the first round and Reese was down twice in the
second round. The fight went the distance with Berry wining an 8
round unanimous decision.

On Saturday May 6, 2006 at 6:30 A.M.
at the Colonial Center Patrick Brissey Graduated with a degree
of Master of Arts in Philosophy. We were proud to see Patrick
graduate as this was a great task studying and training for
boxing, especially at the level that Patrick obtained in Amateur
boxing. Patrick won the 2001 South Carolina Golden Glove
Championship while working out at White Rock Boxing Gym. Our
thanks goes out to Patrick for a Great job in getting his
education and his boxing career. We hope that his success will
be noted by all our young amateur boxers as well. I have always
noticed that Patrick had very strong family support in his

Saturday night at White Rock Gym was
at its full capacity with over 350 fight fans sitting and
standing along the walls and literally outside to watch the live
action in the ring. Cars and trucks filled the parking lot and
the road sides along Hwy 76. It was apparent to every passerby
that there was something exciting going on in White Rock, SC.
At 8:30 pm ring announcer Sean Fink got the evening going with
