(DEC
18) World Champion Boxer Luis Collazo took some time out of his busy
schedule to visit soldiers at Fort Jackson. Collazo got a chance to
talk with soldiers and thank them for the fine job they were doing
protecting our Country. Collazo also had the chance to shoot a
weapons qualification scenario with the M16 rifle. Collazo said It
was an experience that he would never forget.
Collazo says it’s important to show our troops that we care and
respect what they do for our country. 20 year army veteran turned
promoter Andrew Stokes used his military connections to arrange the
meeting between Collazo and the soldiers. Stokes would like to thank
Drill Sergeant Soto, 1SG Rieches and CPT Muwwakkil for hospitality.
Fort Jackson is the largest US Army Training Facility in the World.
