Timothy Hunter Jr. Wins Regional Silver
Gloves, Advances to the Nationals
(JAN 7) Timothy Hunter Jr. advanced to the National Silver Gloves
Championships by winning his first Regional Silver Gloves Title. TJ, as
he is known by his friends, will represent Palmetto Boxing and the
Whiterock Boxing Gym in the upcoming national tournament. Tournament
participants will include fighters from across United States, boxing for
a chance to be called National Champion. TJ has worked diligently the
last four years trying to make it past the Regional Tournament. His hard
work and dedication has finally paid off. We would like to send out a
heartfelt thank you to everyone that has supported our amateur program.
It is evident that your support has not been in vain. The tournament
will be held in Kansas City Mo. TJ will box in the 90lb weight division
for 12-13 year olds. Support of any kind would be greatly appreciated.
Expenses for the trip to Kansas City Mo. will include 3 plane tickets
for TJ and his trainers, meals and hotel rooms. For information on how
