Joseph Rabotte stops Derek Walker in round two.
(JUNE 29) Congratulation to Palmetto Boxing Heavyweight Joseph Rabotte
on a spectacular second round stoppage of undefeated heavyweight Derek
Walker. Rabotte controlled the action from the beginning with a solid
jab and powerful counter rights. Rabotte was quicker to the punch on
every exchange as Walker spent most of the two rounds adjusting his
trunks. Rabotte came into the fight 15 pounds lighter and it showed. He
was quick on his feet and kept Walker off balance most of the fight.
Robotte sealed the deal in the second after catching Walker with three
big right hands that left him out on his feet. Referee Mark Campbell
stepped in to stop the fight before Walker suffered any unnecessary
punishment. The show was promoted by Jim Kelley Promotions at the Omar
Shrine Auditorium in Charleston, SC on Friday June 27, 2008. |
