Palmetto Boxing Promotions scored another Knock Out as they hosted the
largest boxing event ever held on the small Island of Hilton Head Island
South Carolina. Fighters from as far away as Mongolia came to showcase
their talents in what was considered the best match made show this year.
The standing room only crowd was on the edge of
their seats from start to finish. Fans were also ecstatic for the
opportunity to meet and greet Two World Champion Boxers. Paul “The
Punisher” Williams and Luis Collazo both broke training camp to show
their support for long time friend Andrew Stokes.
Williams and Collazo were also on hand to show their support for their
up and coming stable mates, Jeremiah Wiggins, Jamar Freeman, Josh Durden,
Terry Cade and Christopher Fitzpatrick.
Palmetto Boxing’s Chris “The Irish Ghost”
Fitzpatrick (7-0) remained undefeated as he methodically picked apart
his foe Johnny Rowell (Ga.) before finally stopping him at 45 seconds of
the second round with a thundering right hand to the body. Josh Durden
(7-0) showed tremendous heart as he stepped up in competition to face
the tough Mongolian boxer Bayon Jargal. The two pugilists battled toe to
toe for 5 of 6 rounds before Durden was saved by his corner after being
dropped twice by the up and coming Jargal. Jargal moves to 12-0 with the
win and Durden falls to 7-1. Palmetto Boxing’s, Joseph “Sweet Feet”
Rabotte, scored a tremendous second round KO of the 6’6” giant James
Pratt from North Carolina. The anticipated fight of the night held up to
its pre fight billing as South Carolina’s own Terry Cade came back to
avenge his loss in a rematch against the tough and durable Juan Aguirre.
Cade’s determination showed as he was the aggressor this time in a fight
that was so entertaining you hated to see either fighter lose. Full
