Two-Times World Champion Travis Simms returns to the Radisson

Former 2 Times WBA Super Welterweight World Champion
“Tremendous” Travis Simms will co-headline a spectacular boxing card at
the Radisson Hotel in Columbia SC. Simms will be making his second
appearance since losing his first fight via a controversial decision
against unbeaten Joachime Alcine live on Showtime Boxing. It's a big
step up for the local promotional company, Palmetto boxing, and the
local boxing scene, which arguably has not played host to a boxing event
of this magnitude ever .
“Fight Night At The Radisson” is scheduled for Sat. June 20, 2009 at the
Radisson Hotel 2100 Bush River Rd. Columbia, South Carolina. The event
will include a fan base of military and civilian patrons from areas that
include South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida.
The show will also feature Former World Champion Luis Collazo. Collazo
will be fighting for the first time since losing a razor thin
controversial decision against WBC Champion Andre Berto on HBO. For more

2009. Our past shows were smashing successes with over 1,500
enthusiastic boxing fans in attendance. The event will be held at the
