Mixed Martial Arts Returns to Columbia

Times World Grappling Champion Kelly Anundson will headline a
spectacular MMA/Boxing card at the swank Medallion Center in
Columbia SC. Anundson will be making his first appearance since
winning two gold medals at the World Grappling Championships in
December. Anundson is fast becoming one of the hottest MMA fighters
in the US. His second round annihilation of the undefeated 235
lb.Tyrone Jackson of Tennessee on our first MMA show brought the
sold out crowed to their feet and left them begging for more.
Palmetto boxing and Strife MMA continues to bring the best in live
professional boxing and MMA by introducing to you our next show
“Mayhem at the Medallion”.
“Mayhem at the Medallion” is scheduled for Saturday January 30, 2010
at the new Medallion Center located at 7309 Garners Ferry Rd.
Columbia, South Carolina. The event will include a fan base of
military and civilian patrons from all over the Southeast.
The show will also feature undefeated rising star Chris “The Irish
Ghost”, Fitzpatrick (8-0), undefeated female sensation Angel
“Non-Stop” Gladney and MMA Heavyweight John Richard. For more
