Timothy (TJ)
Hunter JR wins 2010 Title Boxing National Tournament
(JUNE 26) Palmetto Boxing’s Timothy Hunter Jr. added another belt to
his collection by out classing the competition in one of the
Southeast’s largest amateur boxing tournament. The 2010 Title Boxing
National Tournament was held in Ripley TN. Boxers competed over
Three days for the chance to win custom Title belts and be crowned
2010 Title Boxing Champion. TJ won the 125 pound 15 year old weight
class racking up his sixth national Title. TJ started training when
he was 5 years old at the World Recognized White Rock Boxing Gym.
His father and trainer Timothy
Hunter has evolved as one of the premier amateur boxing coaches in
the Southeast. The father and son duo is one of the hardest working
coach/boxer teams to have ever trained in the Whiterock Boxing Gym.
Their hard work and dedication to the sport has transcended anything
that we’ve seen in quite some time. Timothy is the epitome of what
it takes to represent the United States in the 2012 Olympics and
someday be a world champion. Congratulations to Timothy Sr. and
Timothy Jr. on a job well done.
