Bobby T Parker III
is eighteen years old and is a junior at Darlington High School. He
has been living with his father Bobby since June 2011. He has always
wanted to box and this gave him the opportunity.
Bobby’s weight was
327 lbs. when he began and after boxing for one year and eight
months he is 6’5” and weighs 252 lbs. He has totally transformed his
physic and lifestyle. He trains hard during the week in his garage
at home.
His parents
JackieLynn and Bobby are both certified coaches that train and
encourage both boxers. He has a brother, Judah Jernigan who has won
SC State Silver Gloves two times consecutively. Judah is also the JO
Champion for SC. Bobby currently holds the title of PAL Champion for
SC and is looking forward to adding more titles.
Bobby shows great
discipline keeping up with school work and training. He sacrifices
his weekends to go to Billy Stanick’s gym in White Rock for sparing.
Mr. Billy’s guidance and support has been very instrumental in
Bobby’s growth and wisdom in boxing. He is very focused and driven
by his love for boxing. Bobby will be making his debut in the Golden
Glove Tournament which takes place March 30, 2013 at Fight Club
University in Columbia, SC. His goals include participating in the
Olympics in 2016 and becoming a professional boxer.
