On Saturday,
July 26, 2014, amateur boxer Judah "The Lion" Parker competed in the
first ever boxing event held in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
This was Judah's first comeback fight since his five-month break
from boxing. He won by a unanimous decision against undefeated 9-0
Quandevis Arnold from Greenville SC. Judah displayed beautiful
combinations using body shots and effective aggressiveness to defeat
his opponent.
Judah trains at White Rock Boxing where
his father, Bobby Parker is his coach. Judah is the SC STATE SILVER
GLOVES CHAMPION and has been for four consecutive years.
He also holds the title of STATE JUNIOR OLYMPIC CHAMPION for four
years.
Judah was
interviewed and the highlights from his fight were televised
Saturday night by FOX 56. Judah definitely has the support he needs
with a network of people including his parents, Jackie Lynn and
Bobby, and Mr. Billy Stanick and the White Rock Boxers.
Professional boxers
DP Powell and Chris Fitzpatrick have been instrumental in helping
groom this young fighter.
Judah is especially
thankful to Mr. Billy Stanick for his wisdom of more than 50 years
in boxing. He has supported Judah since the beginning before Judah
was a part of the White Rock Boxing family.
Mr. Billy plans on Judah being a household name and to make history
here by becoming a world boxing Champion. Look to here more from
Judah "The Lion" Parker from White Rock Boxing.
