Ace Miller's Southern Golden Glove Tournament to be held April 19th - 21st, 2018!
On April 19-21st, 2018, the Ace Miller's Southern Golden Glove Tournament [Southern Regional], will be held at the Meadowlake Park, 600 Beckman Rd., in Columbia, South Carolina, phone/803-798-2266. In ROUND ONE, on April 19th, bouts begin at 6:30 pm; In ROUND TWO, on April 20th, bouts start at 6:30 pm, and then ROUND THREE, April 21st, for the FINALS, bouts start at 5:00 pm. Since the first Golden Gloves tournament in 1923, the Golden Gloves of America, Inc. and its member franchises have provided an opportunity and environment for young athletes to develop lifetime skills. Hundreds of dedicated administrators, coaches, trainers and counselors have unselfishly spent countless times and effort to assist young people in the development of personal character and athletic skills. The Golden Gloves program has led the way in promoting amateur boxing in the United States and has produced the majority of competitors for America’s boxing teams in the Pan-Am and Olympic Games.
