(JAN 3) We just did a recent update on Logan Holler of
Davie, Florida. She is anticipating fighting again in March of 2021. Logan is
currently 9-0-1 (3KO). Holler has a fascinating background into how she got into
boxing, a natural athletic her whole life and more on about what led to
her gravitating toward the world of boxing.
5'7" Logan Holler born in Columbia, South Carolina and currently fights
out of Davie, Florida and has been an athlete her whole life.
Logan said, "I grew up playing soccer, volleyball, and equestrian. Equestrian
was my main sport and I earned a Division 1 scholarship to the University of
South Carolina’s Equestrian team where we won the SEC Championship my senior
year."
Her father, Ed Holler, was also quite an athlete, playing baseball and football
for USC where he went on afterward to play for the Green Bay Packers. Her
biggest influence has always been her father. He played for Vince Lombardi and
the Green Bay Packers so she said and her family grew up in a big sports
environment within her family where competition and hard work was always
present.
"After college I was working as a personal trainer when my dad’s friend who he
played football with at USC, Humpy Wheeler, got me into boxing. After a couple
years of being not able to get an amateur fight I turned pro at 22 and continued
to train in Columbia, South Carolina. From there, I moved to Charlotte,
North Carolina to continue my training. In 2019, I moved again to South Florida
where I train under Javiel Centeno and Bommaritos. I have since signed with
promoter Dibella Entertainment and FGA management team where I am managed by
Peter Kahn, added Logan".
Logan did not participate in the amateurs prior to turning
pro, as she said that they had tried for two years to go to shows, but never
could get matched. At that point her trainer and promoter decided that she would
go pro and take it slow to gain more experience.
