Daniel Powell put on a spectacular performance last night as he disposed of the Citadels’ Daniel Potter in Two Rounds. Both men put there undefeated records on the line in one of the most anticipated fights of the night. After landing several stiff jabs and thunderous right hands in the first round Powell went on to seal the deal in round two with a perfectly placed left hook that sent Potter to the canvas, silencing a raucous Citadel crowd, before referee Billy Sharpe stepped in to stop the fight. Potter was hurt earlier in round and received a standing eight count before he was allowed to continue. With the win Powell moves to 6-0 with 5 ko’s. Daniel is registered with Palmetto Boxing Academy and Boxes out of the White Rock Boxing Gym in White Rock South Carolina. The show was hosted by Mike Golemis and the Citadel Military Academy in Charleston SC. Thanks for a great show.
