(OCTOBER 11, 2023) Lamar Parks is from Greenville, South Carolina and married to Lakendra Parks. As an amateur boxing, he fought in 188 Fights where he won 175 fights! Parks earned five times South Carolina Golden Glove Championships Titles, and earned three times the South Eastern Regional Championships titles. Lamar He fought in the finals of 1988 Olympics. Lamar turned as a professional fighter in 1988, at the age of 18. By the age of 21 he won 27 pro fight where he won 22 by knockouts and lost one to Reggie Johnson for the world middle weight championship title.
Lamar was trained by Silas Sepp at Phillis Weekly Boxing club, and by his father David Parks.
He was nominated by Billy Stanick, President of the White Rock Boxing gym, to
Carolinas Boxing of Hall of Fame where he was accepted by the president Brent
Elmore and seconded by Mike Bevins and the entire board. The induction ceremony
will be Held on April 26th at the Airport Sheraton Hotel in Charlotte North
