White Rock Boxing has Coach Henry Nielson now teaching Scientific Boxing at White Rock Gym. 1974 Eastern Collegiate Coach Of The Year. Qualified and participated in 8 National Boxing Tournaments. Fought for the Miami team in 1971 International Boxing League. Won Southern Golden Gloves (1967 - 1969 ) Won Southern Golden Gloves Best Conditioned Boxer" in 1968. Fought in over 200 bouts lost 15. Fought one professional bout for Gil Clancy Boxing Association. Defeated Dancing Kid Carlos in Nassau Colise. Cited in Ring Magazine " (1965) and lost split dicision to National Champion Melvin Dennis (1970).

Final Tribute to Freeda Foreman - 1976-2019

Billy Stanick and members of White Rock Boxing would like to give our deepest condolences to family and friends with the recent loss of 42-year old Freeda Foreman, the daughter of George Foreman.  Freeda was found unresponsive inside her Houston home on March 9, 2019. The Harris County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Tebben Lewis said in a statement that the death was an apparent suicide. [photo credit: Facebook]

2019 South Carolina Golden Gloves State Championship... and Advancing Regional Tournament January 5, 2019

(JAN 5, 2019) The 2019 South Carolina Golden Gloves State Championship will take place on February 22nd and 23rd at the Spinning Jenny in Greer, South Carolina.   This premier competition will feature the best male and female boxers in South Carolina competing for the 2019 SC Golden Gloves State Championship Belt, All-State Certificates signed by Governor Henry McMaster, and a chance to represent SC at the Southern Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions. This USA Boxing Sanctioned event will follow Olympic-style boxing rules. Full Press Release
