Amy Dantzler Trains at White Rock Boxing Gym for
Fitness!
(DEC 17) Check out Amy Dantzler, who decided she wanted to get
in shape and joined White Rock Boxing Gym to get into shape. She does many
different tasks to learn the skill of boxing and began training in about
November of this year in 2021.
DeAundre Pettus Wins a Six-Round Decision over
Anthony Hannah at the Jamil Shrine Temple September 4th!
(SEPT 6) On Friday night, September 4, 2021, at the
Jamil Shrine Temple, in Columbia, South Carolina, on a Stokes Promotions card,
DeAundre Pettus, 25 years old, of Columbia, was featured in the main event. Pettus faced Anthony Hannah, in a six-round super
welterweight bout. Pettus moved his record to 5-0-0 (2KO), when he won a
six-round unanimous decision over Hannah, now 3-2 (2KO), of Augusta, Georgia.
The final judges scores were 59-55, 59-55, and 58-56. Pettus won the Universal

Slammin' Sammy Horne To be inducted into the
Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame in 2020!
(MAR 19) The Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame in 2020 has
inducted Williamston's Slammin' Sammy Horne among other greats who will be
inducted later this year.
Horne will be among others greats in the sport that includes in this years
nominated, Floyd Patterson, James "Bone Crusher" Smith, Olympian Bernard Taylor,
Calvin Brock, World Bantamweight holder Kelvin Seabrooks, National Champion
Billy Bridges, Pappy Gault, and more in this years celebration and honoring of

Rock Boxing! (Oct 20) Yesterday, on
October 19, 2019, our amateur boxers were training at White Rock
Boxing. All of the amateur boxers train at our gym. Their coach
is James Gallmon.

New Professional Female Boxer on
the Scene!
Check out female boxer Carley Holman, who made her pro debut,
winning by a stoppage, and is now 1-0 (1KO). In the video, Billy Mitchem is
working the mitts with Carley. She has already developed a
hard-punching power and is a boxer to keep your eye on.
Billy is teaching her well, and Billy Stanick, is also working
with Billy with Carley.

Scientific Boxing at White Rock Gym. 1974 Eastern Collegiate
Coach Of The Year. Qualified and participated in 8 National
Boxing Tournaments. Fought for the Miami team in 1971
International Boxing League. Won Southern Golden Gloves (1967 -
1969 ) Won Southern Golden Gloves Best Conditioned Boxer" in
1968. Fought in over 200 bouts lost 15. Fought one professional
bout for Gil Clancy Boxing Association. Defeated Dancing Kid
Carlos in Nassau Colise. Cited in Ring Magazine " (1965) and
lost split dicision to National Champion Melvin Dennis (1970).
Final Tribute to Freeda Foreman -
1976-2019
Billy Stanick and members of
White Rock Boxing would like to give our deepest condolences to family
and friends with the recent loss of 42-year old Freeda Foreman, the
daughter of George Foreman. Freeda was found unresponsive inside
her Houston home on March 9, 2019. The Harris County Sheriff's Office
spokeswoman Tebben Lewis said in a statement that the death was an

2019 South Carolina Golden Gloves State Championship... and Advancing Regional Tournament

(JAN 5, 2019) The 2019
South Carolina Golden Gloves State Championship will take place on
February 22nd and 23rd at the Spinning Jenny in Greer, South Carolina.
This premier competition will feature the best male and female boxers in
South Carolina competing for the 2019 SC Golden Gloves State
Championship Belt, All-State Certificates signed by Governor Henry
McMaster, and a chance to represent SC at the Southern Golden Gloves
Tournament of Champions. This USA Boxing Sanctioned event will follow
