Witherspoon’s friends and fans were disappointed to learn the
fight with J.D. Chapman scheduled for May 3, 2008 in Paris,
Arkansas was cancelled. We were informed by e-mail that Chapman
injured his arm and it would take about a month to heal. This is
the second time in two months that the fight was cancelled after
having signed contracts. This was a big disappointment but we
also understand that this is the nature of the boxing game.
Moultrie will continue to train and be ready to fight all
comers. We sincerely hope when J.D.’s arm heals, Scott Hirsch
will still honor our agreement and allow J.D. to fight Moultrie.
